Factories, manufacturing plants, and loading zones are inherently hazardous due to their environments. In these spaces, forklifts, heavy-duty vehicles, and humans often operate in close, confined areas.
Accident Prevention System
Proximity aims to reduce accidents between humans and vehicles in hazardous environments.
Each worker wears a location device embedded in their safety vest, and vehicles are equipped with specialized hardware. The system tracks the positions of both people and vehicles 30 times per second.
If a vehicle’s path intersects with a person, the system triggers audio and visual alerts. If the danger persists, it automatically shuts down the vehicle to prevent contact.
Position, speed, and direction are displayed on a virtual map, along with heat maps for added safety insights.
